Core responsibilities include selling the company’s products to existing and emerging component and/or system Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. This position will also be responsible for managing and supporting distribution efforts in assigned regions/territories (both sales and technical).
The candidate(s) MUST have 7+ years direct working experience with high-speed physical layer components and/or optical networking systems. The candidate(s) must demonstrate very strong communication and negotiation skills. He or She must be able to draw upon rich personal experience, market and customer knowledge as well as leverage internal & external resources and relationships as needed to close deals and meet set goals/targets.
